What gets cut, and where? Choosing targets and backgrounds

Want your cat to cut a salmon? Upload the cat as the operator, then select salmon below it. You do not need to combine the cat and fish into one image first.

1. Does my photo become the operator or the target?

Your uploaded character plays the operator behind the table. Choose the object on the board from the supplied presets. Custom object uploads, image links and typed cutting targets are not supported.

Upload the operator in the previous field. This first row chooses what gets cut.

2. Which cutting targets can I choose?

ChoiceWhen to use it
Original fishTry the character swap while keeping the reference target.
Whole yellowfin tunaReplace the target with a complete tuna.
Whole salmonUse a whole salmon, rather than a fillet.
Long white radishTry a long vegetable instead of another fish.

The targets have long, whole shapes to follow the reference action. Their thumbnails guide the object choice; they are not promises of an identical finished frame. Watermelon, pineapple and fillets are not available options.

3. Should I keep the original background?

I suggest keeping the original background for your first attempt. After you have seen your character, try Ocean kayak or Forest stoves. Changing fewer things at once makes the difference easier to judge.

Original keeps the reference video's scene; its thumbnail is only a preview. The ocean and forest references use frames from @sakanasyndicate’s kayak video and @cookinforest70’s forest video, adapted with AI to remove people, expand tables and change framing. They are not untouched extracted frames. The kayak cat demo shows one generated result with the ocean background and daikon. It does not verify the forest background or every combination.

Changing the background still uses the reference for the action. Check that the character is behind the table, the target is on it and the knife meets the target. If those relationships are wrong, do not spend more credits upscaling it. Check the complete setup steps first.
